Who We Are

Friends of the Oak Lodge Public Library (FOLPL) is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer organization that provides supplemental funding, advocacy and community engagement to benefit the Oak Lodge Library, located at 16201 SE McLoughlin Blvd. in Oak Grove, OR.

Our Mission

We receive funds through membership dues, bookstore sales, fundraising and donations. We use those funds to support:

Summer reading programs
Teen & adult programs
Day passes to major cultural enrichment venues
Providing extras to the new Concord Library Building

Library History

This non-profit organization was previously called Oak Lodge Community Library Advocates (OLCLA). This group worked hard to ensure the library remained in the community of Oak Lodge. OLCLA became the Friends of Oak Lodge Public Library (FOLPL) in 2018.

We could not be more excited for the new Oak Lodge Library and Park at the Concord Property. Project construction is planned for Fall 2023 - Spring 2025.
